You wrote:

“You are write. We belonged to a spirit-filled church here.

Most at our church are home schooled or in private school.”

Please tell me this was a joke post.

It is not unusual for children whose parents speak one language, have a nanny speak another and live in a country where a third language is spoken to accomplish this. Reading at 14 months (or even 17 months) is considerably more unusual.

I'm sure your grandchildren are all quite bright, but this little girl is truly an outlier. This is an unusual skill, whereas multilanguage ability in young children is not.

My kid could read before he could walk. In fact at 17 months he was also writing, could count in several languages to at least 20 (English, German, Italian, French and Spanish). He also self taught himself to read script before he was three.

I hoped that someone who is involved with home schooling or private schools would know the difference betweeen “write” and “right” and would use the wrong word only as a joke.

You will be happy to know that I am not involved in Home
Schooling or Private Schools. I was stating that most of
the kids at my church are.

However, as you can clearly see by my error, I did work
with Special Education as a Para.

I was in a hurry, please forgive my error.
