I will be the first to admit that Doug Ose is not as conservative as Tom McClintock. As I also said it is my intention to vote for McClintock in the June primary.

This does not mean that Ose is a liberal, far from it. While he cannot be called, to use an old phrase a “Rockefeller Republican” it would not be unfair to put him on the McCain wing as the party is currently constructed. Again this does not make him liberal just merely misguided.
