Wait ‘till they find that he was using his state expense account to pay the trollops. Then he can go directly from Allenwood to Attica.

Judge: How do you plead, Mr. Spitzer?

Eliot Spitzer: That depens, Your Honor.

Judge: Depends? That's not an option, Mr. Spitzer. You're an attorney, you know the options.

Eliot Spitzer: Well, Your Honor, I was hoping to change my first name from Eliot to Idiot and then plead not guilty by reason of reduced mental capacity.

OK, I don't get it; this guy knocks of a top grade piece and pays for it (probably in more ways than one) and Bill bags a public servant in the the oval orifice and that’s OK? WTF??

I can't help but wonder if Hillary had this happen somehow, the licenses for illegals would be the axe to grind. This is her modus operandi.

Greta is saying what she is holding is a complaint, not an indictment.

But a complaint is the step before an indictment is sought.

That’s a great story. I watched MASH growing up but I don’t know much about the man personally. I can imagine though that he would be the opposite of his character on MASH. Do you remember what he spoke about at the college?

I’m just a poor country boy, but what in this world does one do to earn $5,500.00? They only thing I can think of is to have her re-shingle by roof.

Reshingle your roof?

She makes $5500 per HOUR, plus she doesn’t have to bend over......well you know what I mean.

Especially the forklift!

The questions is: Whom did he know and when did he know her?

How did he pay for knowing her?

“Compared to researched, thoughtful, responsible journalism.”
Where pray tell would I find some of that? The New York Times no doubt.

He was in clear violation of the Mann Act; transport of a person across state lines for illegal purpose...aka, the ‘white slavery act’.

Spitzer was bad but now we (NY) gets David Patterson the uber-leftist cop hater as Gov.

__________________________________

Worse than that, Patterson is the second generation apparatchik of the Manhattan based, Black, socialist, Percy Sutton led power structure that put Dinkins in Gracie Manor.

Jesse Jackson and Charlie Rangel are founding fathers with Sutton. They are as corrupt as they are inneffecient and they would never have won the State House in any election.

As I recall, Mr. Linville gave a brief autobiography, then talked about his experiences on MASH, along with a brief discussion of the cast members. He told some very funny stories, but unfortunately, I can’t remember them anymore. One thing I do remember is that the producers wanted his character to be a villain, but he turned it into somewhat of a lovable loser.

You seem to enjoy making wild, sarcastic assumptions and putting words into my mouth. Is this how you approach everyone?

“You seem to enjoy making wild, sarcastic assumptions and putting words into my mouth. Is this how you approach everyone?”

No, just people who make wild blanket statements regarding cable news. I did not put any words in your mouth either, I just wondered where one might find thoughtful well researched journalism. I did not at any time state that it was your opinion the NYT was capable of any of those things. Since you made such a short statement in your original post I was left to wonder if you were merely a “Troll” trashing cable news or if you were unaware of the lack of journalistic integrity that dates as far back as the Civil War. It now appears you are not some hippie from Austin and therefore not likely a Troll in need of a good zot so please accept my apologies for any offense. It only seemed you were defending my sorry excuse for a Governor.

I've been around here since September of 2001 and have posted a few thousand comments. If I were a troll, I would have been taken care of by now. I've made statements that have provoked the ire of a few people - some deserved, some not. Typically I do not react well to blunt, angry sounding sarcasm so that is why I did not feel too compelled to spend much time explaining myself. Nonetheless, I did offer my reaction on a very sloppily covered breaking news story told by Fox News and I stand by my initial comment. They did a pitiful job covering the story as it happened.

You didn't know where I was coming from and I accept your apology. I don't want to seem like one of "those guys" who make blanket, uninformed statements, so I apologize for the confusion and will try in the future to do a better job of explaining myself to avoid such misunderstandings.

You're right. There has been a lack of journalistic integrity for as long as people have been telling the news. But now that we have a number of competing cable channels that need to fill a 24-hour a day schedule, that problem seems much larger than ever.

My comment had to do with increasingly dangerous irresponsibility on the part of the media. Truth it seems is secondary to sensationalism. Dead air simply cannot happen and so in certain situations personalities are often given inaccurate and incorrect data to regurgitate into the camera. Anchors like Shepard Smith REACT more than they report. News outlets have also become infested with social and political activists who twist stories enough so that they effectively plant inaccurate or incorrect ideas in the minds of morons who believe everything they hear and yet retain the right to vote. This is precisely what I meant when I said "...cable news sucks."

However, it's still better than the New York Times or Katie Couric.
