It's too late, we're all done for no matter what we do.

Just last week the lack of sunspots was causing global cooling. What's a person to do when the sky is falling? ;>)

"The question is, what if we don't want the Earth to warm anymore?" asked Carnegie Institution senior scientist idiot Ken Caldeira, co-author of a paper published last week in the journal Geophysical Research Letters.Unreal.
Personally, with the winter we've had, I'd take some warming about now. If I never saw snow again, I could still die happy.

The task of cutting greenhouse gas emissions enough to avert a dangerous rise in global temperatures may be far more difficult than previous research suggested, say scientists who have just published studies indicating that it would require the world to cease carbon emissions altogether within a matter of decades. I guess that means they'll have to quit smoking whatever it is they're smoking, too.

CO2 output must cease altogetherJust continue the work that Hitler and Stalin started. While we're at it, give Pol Pot the Nobel prize. But shouldn't we exterminate all of the animals before we finish off the people?

There is still snow in my yard on 10 March...

Considering that mankind, in all his fossil-fuel burning glory, only contributes 3% to the total global CO2 output, I don't see where anything we do will make one bit of difference.
FWIW, they can TRY to keep me from warming my a$$ this or any other winter, but they will fail.
(Mrs. Dirtbiker has already decreed that HER house will not be cold, and if Mrs. Dirtbiker ain't happy, nobody is happy....)
