They do not check any other inmates’ immigration status, and Milwaukee police have a policy not to ask in some cases. Thus, illegal immigrants who have not previously been deported for a felony, even if they may have committed multiple crimes, are not identified, said officials.

I hope you people in Milwaukee sleep well at night, knowing the cops don't give a damn about doing their jobs. But then that is nothing new for a lot of badge toter's.

I’ve been told on more than a dozen occasions that police are “too busy to respond” to noise, all-night parties, open air drug deals and street altercations.

Verbatim, one time I was even told that “Thursday isn’t a good night to call. We’re very busy on Thursdays.”

Good riddance Milwaukee.
