Get ready Spain...New Andalusia is on the way to you again.
>>”The Spanish people have spoken clearly and decided to start a new era,” Zapatero told euphori<<
WHAT NEW ERA??? It’s the same OLD socialist president who won re-election.
What’s the difference?
If I vote for McCain I get the candidate that is for:
No Guantanimo
No interrogation
Global warming
Taxes
Infringement of free speech
Gun Control
Amnesty
Judicial Activists (complained about alito and gang of 14)
Higher oil/gas prices and no drilling
Vote for McCain! Conservative since February 2008
The BBC had:
Socialists (PSOE): 42%
Popular Party (PP): 38%
Catalan Regional Party (CiU): 3%
Republican Left of Catalonia (ERC): 2.5%
United Left (IU): 5%
The CiU is a right wing party, but the ERC and IU are both leftists. With them it comes to 49.5% with 9.5% not in those five parties.
Sort-of. CiU is generally labeled right wing, but it isn't right wing in any sense any American would recognize. In the European Parliament, its largest faction self-identifies as "liberal," and votes against the conservative European People's Party.
Also, virtually all of the minor parties you didn't list are left-wing, including parties representing left-wing Basque, Aragon, Galicia, Navarre and Canary Islands nationalists.
Zapo means the ‘new era’ those voters who voted for that leftist putz will wish they had not.
“Sounds a lot like Michigan and Granholm.”
Indeed it does. Michigan had the highest unemployment in the country, quarter after quarter of negative growth and taxes and “fees” out the wazoo. Yet, 57% of the idiot voters gave this communist female goon another term in the governor’s chair.
Now these same idiot voters are complaining that they can’t find jobs, businesses are leaving and the value of their homes are plunging.
I’ve given up trying to understand voters who seat thieving socialists in government. When they complain to me, I just tell them you voted for this mess, now suffer.
It is not so much what we want for America - it is that the school sytems, and the media, have sold the ideas to young people for 20+ years and we now have people under 45 thinking exactly like the liberals - government aid is better than personal responsibility.
