Is there any hope of Elrod winning this race? It would be a great balance to losing fat Hastert’s old seat yesterday.
Chances aren’t good. The GOP never seems to help any of our candidates. Carson is the departed Julia Carson’s son. He is a Muslim.
Elrod obviously has no money.
Our guy won the mayorship of Indianapolis last year,with no money either, from incumbent RAT Bart Peterson.
That race had more to do with winning because of tax and police issues.
This is very winnable. Jon sells himself well to soft-Democrats and Independents. Lots of white Dems are fed up with the Carson Machine and would rather have a moderate Republican like Jon Elrod in Congress than another socialist Dem.
