Agree - post is good idea but why must we have Mexican anything. We have enough issues to deal with Mexicans about without having this site - of all places - start off with their food.

Dark Rum...

Might as well throw in a few kitchen ingredients:

Daiquiri
2 ounces rum
1 ounce lime juice
1 teaspoon sugar

Shake with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a slice of lime. Never, never use Rose's lime juice in this drink. Robert Hess mixes one for the video camera.

Zombie
1 ounce lemon juice
1 ounce lime juice
1 ounce pinapple juice
1 tsp brown sugar
1 ounce passion fruit syrup
1 dash Angostura bitters
1 ounce gold rum
1 ounce 151 demerara rum
1 ounce rum

Dissolve sugar in juice. Shake with ice and pour into a collins glass. Garnish with a mint sprig. Hess mixes the Zombie.
