Limited in quantity? That is the funniest thing I have heard in a long time. If you call 20+ BILLION bbls limited, then I guess you are correct.

Assumming there's 20 billion to be had, and assuming all 20 billion is economically feasible to pump and refine . . .

How long do you expect 20 billion barrels to last when America burns 7+ billion barrels a year?

And when do we talk conservation, when we are down to the very last drop of oil on the planet?

The fact remains that we would get about one million barrels/day from ANWR (EXACTLY what we get from Saudi Arabia every day). We could get that million barrels/day for 30 years....30 YEARS!!!!

I'd much rather NOT send that $100 million/day (base on $100/barrel) to Saudi,,,,while we work on the "AND THEN WHAT" part of the equation.

The solution to our energy will be the combination of many solutions, not just one.

And when do we talk conservation, when we are down to the very last drop of oil on the planet?

You do realize that our energy efficiency has been increasing year over year for decades don’t you? Market forces drive this, we don’t need enviro-wackos to tell us how.
