This was a popluar play and I think it won a couple of Tonys. HBO got a big cast together and spent some bucks on the TV production. Glorifies aids victims.
My husband and I walked out of this play in Milwaukee, much to the consternation of the couple who were our hosts. It was disgusting.
We got a ticket for inattentive driving on the way home talking about it.
It wasn’t just the homosexual theme that was bad — it was also the whole trashing of J. Edgar Hoover and the Republican Party that went on in it, as I remember.
