Likud MK Gilad Erdan said Sunday he intends to propose a bill that would ban mourners' tents or any other public form of mourning or remembrance for terrorists.
The proposal comes after police said they could not prevent the erection of a mourners' tent in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Jabel Mukaber honoring Ala Abu Dhaim, who carried out Thursday's terror attack in a Jerusalem yeshiva that killed eight, most of them teenagers.
"The State of Israel acts more like a suicidal democracy than a democracy that is defending itself," said Erdan.

Who can oppose this legislation - other than terrorists themselves?
Mad Israelis hellbent on imposing suicidal democracy at all costs.
Seems like a street full of “mourners” is the perfect opportunity to get a large group of terrorists together...
What about the idea to kill all the terrorists so a ban on public mourning for terrorists will not be required?
Dear God.......when will PC end and the real war begin?......its embarassing to watch a freedom loving nation trying to talk to a bunch of barbarians whose "line in the sand" is to want you all dead and gone from the earth. Its untimately embarassing for all people who long for freedom and peace.....
...but in the high levels of governments everywhere, there seemingly exists not a hint of embarrasment or shame...or remorse for the people killed by terrorists bombs and bullets.
Nahhh.... Just come up with a “temporary insanity” protection for anyone “convicted” of destroying those “mourners tents.”
“So what if the tent is burned down... I couldn’t help myself. I was temporarily insane! I’m much better now.”
No harm, no foul.
