What if homosexuals staged a huge promotion of that sexual lifestyle choice, and no one came to see it? That's exactly what a coalition of organizations is proposing for April 25, this year's "Day of Silence," which is sponsored in public schools across the nation to promote homosexuality.
"It's outrageous that our neighborhood schools would allow homosexual activism to intrude into the classroom," said Buddy Smith of the American Family Association, one of a long list of organizations asking parents to keep their students home from school on that day.
"'Day of Silence' is about coercing students to repudiate traditional morality. It's time for Christian parents to draw the line – if your children will be exposed to this DOS propaganda in their school, then keep them home for the day," he said.
The "Day of Silence" promotion is intended, ostensibly, to make students "aware" of the "discrimination" suffered by homosexuals in society, by having students remain silent for the day. Such events typically are organized by a school's "Gay-Straight Alliance" group, but the event has been promoted for its previous 11 years by the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, an organization with the agenda of establishing homosexual advocacy organizations such as GSAs in all schools in the nation.
The pro-family coalition said the event "is designed to pressure students to regard homosexual, bisexual, and transgender behavior as normal and worthy." It said the teaching environment is disrupted by the event because some students "and even some teachers" remain silent through the school day.
"Protesters wear T-shirts and hand out 'speaking cards' protesting alleged injustice, harassment, prejudice, and discrimination toward 'LGBT' people and their 'allies,'" the coalition said.

If the ACLU were truly interested in keeping public schools free from indroctrination they’d be all over this. This is sheer propaganda.
They won’t allow prayer in school, but they’ll allow this? It’s the Homo/NEA/DNC agenda of corrupting the morality of our children.
Has this behavior switched back to being a "choice" again, now? In the 80's it was all about the perverts chosing to be homosexual. In the 90's it switched to, "it's in the jeans, we're born that way." Now has it reverted back to, choice?
This is why they choose government high schools.

When are the American people ( especially conservatives) finally going to “get it”?
Government schools violate every First Amendment Right. Government schools and freedom of conscience can NOT coexist!
With the Day of Silence, government schools are violating our First Amendment Right to free assembly. We do have a **God** given right not to be forced by the government into assembling with homosexual activists!
With this Day of Silence, government schools are also violating the establishment of religion clause. Government has ordered children into its school prisons and is subjecting them to proselytizing the homosexual religious worldview!
Will the Homosexual nuts also teach the history of Disease and Death in the Homosexual Community because of their Lifestyle?????
Now there is documentation that homosexuals die from old age diseases 10 TO 20 years before they should have.
Sounds like a t-shirt in the making ... the truth about the risks published on t-shirts and worn by all students caring to do so on the day of silence ...
How do you boycott it? It’s all over. The schools practice it. Governments at all levels practice it. The media favors it.

Homosexuals need to keep in mind, however, that the good news of the gospel is not about how God despises same-sex sexual relationships. In fact, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 indicates that certain members of that church had been slaves to such relationships but had been cleansed in Jesus' name. So these former homosexuals had evidently repented and accepted God's grace to straighten their lives out.
