Reminds me of when leader Hastert came to Oklahoma and mentioned he thought Coburn would lose the senate race. I felt he tried to affect that race. The people thought differently and voted in huge numbers for Senator Coburn. Mr. Hastert’s leadership during the time it could have made a difference, did us no favors. We will have to endure some pain in the short term, no way around it.
Good point. I had nothing against Kirk Humphreys- he was a good Mayor- but Tom Coburn was clearly the better candidate.
