Thanks. When I look at the pic on the right:

it appears there’s the outline/imprint of an H...but it’s not too distinct with the poor resolution.

I’m curious.

I suppose it could also be a Dallas Cowboys cap. Hopefully the staties and/or Feds could clean up the pic if asked.

Check this out. They actually have new hats without the H, but they are clearly distinguishable from this hat because they lack a clearly defined left point.

You know what. I was wrong. I see the H in the more detailed picture. But it is still probably a gang symbol.

When I first saw the ATM photos, my immediate thought was gang member. Sadly, several long standing Chapel Hill festival traditions have been kiboshed in recent years due to local gang activity.
