I believe Hubert Humphrey in 1968 was the Democrat nominee, as he was picked at the temultuous convention in Chicago that year. He ran in no primaries anywhere in the nation.

If memory serves. I was in junior high then, and the details of all of that meant nothing to me at the time.

Yeah, 1968 Chicago...wasn’t that the convention that resulted in massive rioting.
