Makes you wonder, doesn't it? Looks like a substantial number of people on this thread wouldn't be satisfied unless Bush declared a fatwa. How's that for irony?

PSSSTTT Hey Johnnie wanna something to think about for a second? If there was any fight in them for freedom they would have killed Saddam themselves long ago. They will do what Radical Clerics tell them to do whom very rich and powerful Sauds fund. Radical Clerics will take Saddams place. We invaded the wrong nation Johnnie.

Get real people!

What Bush says to the world and what he ‘knows’ are two different things.
He has to deal with other world leaders, many of whom are muslim, how far do you think he would get if he stated his true feelings re islam?

He is far from being stupid, believe me, he gets it!

If he had the guts to speak his mind and say what really needs to be said to them that would be a change. Doing that rather than WIMP out being PC and giving even a hint of credibilty to the enemies cause. If he did as much then maybe he might get even a nickles worth of respect. That might just work rather than be a laughing stock and making our nation such. As soon as the idenity of the 9/11 hi-jackers were known he should have placed the Sauds and others on notice and not Iraq.

I must admit you have an interesting point of view: “I want to post on a public forum, but I don’t want someone to respond to me.”

Wrong. A correct interpretation would be “I want to post on a public forum but there are several of the same idiots who pollute any number of threads with their RINO nonsense who I would prefer never to have any interaction with.”

Yet you are still posting here. In economic terms, the utility you are gaining still outweighs the cost. You are simply trying to change the rules in your favor so you can free-load.

Yes, because you define moron as someone who disagrees with you. Where’s the fun in avoiding someone who does?

Bought and paid for ny the government of Saudi Arabia.

Yeah I voted for him both times....of course. And I still would given a similar choice.

I prefer the slow koolaid to the instant variety.

Well said. And why are we still buying oil from them and not drilling here at home? No cajones in the Oval Office...

And why are we still buying oil from them and not drilling here at home? No cajones in the Oval Office...

Because the GOP house and senate leadership became as useless as the DEM leadership who used this problem within the GOP to their full advantage especially with Bush in office. With wimps like Lott, Frist, Hyde and Hassert etc, nothing substantial got done but letting the DEMs and Liberals in the GOP like McCain for example set the agenda's.

In the mean time the voting public has either been oblivious or apathetic to the problem. When given a chance for correction they don't take time to think and act beyond what some party hack apologist on Radio and TV talking head shows are telling them what to think and do.

And so it continues with the nation spinning toward one of several outcomes. It becomes a Socialist nation. It falls into a Cultural regional sects civil war which will be far more deadly than our first, or voters wake up and demand accountability, truth, and Constitutional restrain to once again prevail in our nations Capitol and highest offices.

“I’ve made it clear, Madam President, that the war against terrorism is not a war against Muslims, nor is it a war against Arabs. It’s a war against evil people who conduct crimes against innocent people.”

They just HAPPEN to BE Muslim and/or Arab.

No connection./s
