Let's get this straight: The people here who are saying they would vote for McCain are really voting AGAINST the Democrat, not FOR McCain. Big difference. That other 30% are conservatives with principles that cannot be compromised. Get it?
straight? from you....hardly...you just bitch and gripe with no real conviction except hate...
You're tougher than I am. I did compromise already in this election--a couple times. I ended up voting for Romney because he was the best one left of the bunch by the time my primary came along.
But now that we have McCain, I'm no longer looking at candidates. I'm looking at what team will be most effective at advancing the liberal agenda. That is the team I want to see in the White House the least. Now, some here think the obvious answer to that would be the Dem would be worst. However, in California that was recently proven wrong with the election of Arnold Schwarzenegger who has been able to accomplish more for liberalism than any Dem could have dreamed of.
The fact that this article says the "Bush Team" will now be working for McCain is neither a plus nor minus for me. The fact that the "Bush Team" also became the "Schwarzenegger Team" a couple years ago, and the "Schwarzenegger Team" will now be working for McCain is a HUGE minus for me.
That would be me. AND, I almost hate to pull that lever for McCain as much as for one of the dems.
What a sad way to have to vote. :(
