I voted on Feb 5th, so my situation was different. But I don’t like this crossing over stuff. It just screws the process up that much more, IMO. And, I must say that I love seeing McCain unable to garner even 50% of the votes, even when he’s the nominee. To me, that sends a message to the ignoramuses that pushed him through the process and in the unlikely event that we actually get a President McCain, it should send a message his way, as well. If I were in NC, I’d be punching the ballot for one of the non-McCain pubbies.

We’ll have to politely disagree on this one. I think the only way to send the message to Republican leadership is to withdraw support from the party as it now exists. There is no alternative here for Republicans.

This state allows independents to choose, but there is no “crossover” voting allowed. I just choose to not belong to the GOP as long as Ken Mehlman, Carly Fiorina, John McCain and that bunch are involved. Sorry, I have my principles.
