Wrong—the planes are French. They will put the tanks in them in Mobile.
Everyone keeps posting that there will be thousands and thousands of jobs created. I don’t buy it.
It don’t take that many people to put tanks on planes.

So what I have seen people answering both ways is: where is the plane going to be built, in France or in Alabama? I thought the airframes were going to be built on existing lines in France and then flown to Alabama for completion, much like Boeing does in Seattle and Wichita.
If the airframe is being built on existing lines in France, that is where the bulk of the jobs will be and the bulk of the money will go.

Its not just a matter of putting tanks in aircraft. The complete system integration, Engines, fueling boom a load of electronics that you probably wouldn’t understand.
