No problem, I posted it here first - http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1979689/posts?page=342
but couldn’t remember you FR name so I had to look for you.
You make some good points and perhaps “They might be smelling Israels blood in the water & want to get on the winning side.” but there is a lot that is NOT said in that piece.
There has been nothing of any substance out of Israel today that I can find but Hamas leader Abbas backed out of the claim to the murders and made a few demands earlier today - another hmmmm
What I found interesting was the last sentence - “The Iranian and Qatari ministers left Damascus immediately afterwards.”
That left Hasad and the Omanian leader there - hmmmmm
It has been over a year since the last time this much silence has come from Israel after major events have occurred - I wonder if the world is waiting - fearing at what Israel will do.
Oh well - just some thoughts.
They are definitely fearing what Israel is going to do, but Israel will likely do nothing more than kill a few Palestinians & try to make believe that they've done enough. & then the mask will drop & all will know that Israel is nearly defeated. Except for completely beaten countries like Lebanon, most Arabs already sense Israel's weakness & expect to be able to destroy it eventually. This will be confirmation to any Arabs who still had reservations. I predict that this will inflame anti-semitism like never before. Jewish weakness breeds anti-semitism.
The only good thing that can come out of it is that I know that Israelis will fight hard if their backs are against the wall. Maybe it's the only way for Israel to react.
