Did you ever read Wolfram’s book? It is very thick but full of pictures. He shows that complexity is nearly unavoidable once there are just a couple lines of code in your generating program. He said the program for the universe might run to five lines of code. Kind of interesting.

In case no one has mentioned yet, fractals are like this. A very simple equation, with the output fedback to next imput, results in incredible complexity, ordered complexity.

Now the question still remains, "why is this so?"

I think it was Einstein who said the question he wondered about the way creation worked was "Did God have a choice?"
