Sex is too much trouble?
well, it’s true that relationships with people take work and committment. Maybe that’s the real heart of this issue. Namely, that people have become so “spoiled” or “self-centered” or “self-indulgent” that they can’t find any happiness in a relationship with another person. It speaks volumes for that guy to prefer his private activities to being in a relationship with a woman.

It speaks volumes for that guy to prefer his private activities to being in a relationship with a woman. But hardly surprising. More and more, I'm discovering that 21st century women are beyond-career-driven, duplicitous, money-hungry, flighty, shallow, and incredibly vain. And that's just their good qualities. We're on about the third generation of feminists. And it ain't pretty.

The language of this article speaks volumes about their level of PC over there too. Since when is ones “private activities” as you put it, a dysfunction?? And Same sex activities are not even mentioned?

Sex is too much trouble?I think they mean kids are too much trouble. I always though Japan would have enough sense of their own culture and history that they wouldn't follow Europe into the abyss.
But it looks like they are headed there.
