If you are to take him at his word - yes. After all, this is the same guy who said that his amnesty bill “was definitely NOT amnesty.”

Let us see if he’ll hold good to his promise or will pull a Chertoff instead.

McCain wants amnesty, which will destroy this country. He has not renounced McCain-Kennedy or the 2006 Senate amnesty bill [S 2611] that passed the Senate. McCain was the architect of both bills. McCain’s “reasonable position” will with a stroke of a pen end this country as we know it. And it is irrevocable.

I agree! - and a temporary program whereby farm workers come into the country under a controlled system and leave when the harvest is done is not amnesty in any shape or form.
