Should include the anthrax attacks and the Beltway shooter murders (although these were successful rather than thwarted).
Those are the ones they talk about. My guess is there are many more, including big operations, which have been thwarted. That’s a big reason why both Liberal and Conservative dissing of President Bush frosts me. We have no idea how many crises he may have had to handle in secret. He and his Administration may for all we know have saved entire cities, in the midst of dodging all the brickbats thrown at them by ideological enemies and the Drive-By Media.

List of KNOWN attacks prevented. I believe that there have proably been more aborted plans and ideas.

I find the timing of the release of this list to be suspicious- Bush Cheney and Rove are just trying to make people overlook the terrible economy! The number one issue for Americans is the economy! Bush has ruined our economy!

The media deliberately hide this sort of thing while they fixate on celebrity sluts, crimes committed with guns, and anything that a Republican says or does.

These are only the well-known cases. I heard from a friend whose son works at Homeland that there are many many others. They’re very busy.
The airplane shoe bomber. I thought passengers and aircraft crew physically stopped the guy. The US govt had no intel this guy was going to do this.
