The GOP isn't smart enough to hold a closed primary.
It'd be interesting to hear you interpret the fact that in California, Republicans have a closed primary, and Democrats have an open primary.

I guess my complaint is with the national GOP. The first primaries conducted were all open primaries, which worked out to the detriment of conservative candidates.
