Meaning that if you want to search a specific user’s posts, you need to find a post of theirs on the forum first in order to do so. It would be nice to still have a way to do it from the search function rather than such a clunky method of having to first locate a post from the user and then click to see their posts.

But even when seeing the users posts, it is now just the threads they are posting on, not their actual posts anymore, therefore one must click on each thread?

Correct? Is that what you are getting?

This is a huge difference, and not a good one.

Has FR responded to this complaint? (I haven’t read the whole thread)

Thanks!

Well I read the wiki (which I have read before, but since you need to download a RSS reader I passed on the idea. The wiki still doesn’t mention what it does specifically. Is it like a crawl across your browser that will display (in the case of Free Republic) news headlines? CUrious really, but honestly it would seem useless for Free Republic if that’s what it does, as going to FR in itself is like a RSS in that the most relevant headlines are listed on the sidebar.
