“You have me confused with someone who cares what a coward like yourself thinks. “Vet” doesn’t necessarily mean that you are no longer on active duty. I’ve carried an M-16 in Afghanistan and will be in Iraq within a year. So, unless you’re willing to pick up a weapon and join the fight, you might want to drink a tall cold glass of shut the ____ up.”

I may or may not be a “coward” (not sure how you would know that), but at least I know that the objective of fighting a war is to *WIN*.

I suggest you read the book “Party of Defeat” by David Horowitz and Ben Johnson. If you think it’s too late for Osamabama, Pelosi, and Reid to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, I suggest you think again.

If you think McCain is anywhere near that bunch on the war on terror, then you don’t understand the Demorats.

He’ has a very fun show but I wouldn’t listen to his show for the ‘truth.’

I am an avid listener all he does is read the news and make comments on the subject, he is a hard core conservative and so am I so naturally I agree with him on everything, he does not sway my opinion, I already have them, all he does is prove to me that there are people out there that think the same way that I do.

You liberal Republicans are as bad as the unions....telling everybody who they have to vote for. KMA! I don’t vote for liberals.

I just love so-called “conservatives” like you. You’ll proudly sit on your hands and do nothing to stop the Demorats, then sure as sh-t you’ll be the loudest whiners when they take over. And right here on FR, I’ll bet.

You one of those trying to change the definition of conservative?

If Republicans wanted conservatives to vote for their candidate they should have chosen better. It’s a republican problem and it’s all republican fault. Nobody elses.

If you’re really a conservative, and a Demorat gets elected, that’s your problem. The fact that people like you can just close their eyes to this obvious reality is just amazing.

A democrat is going to be elected no matter what because McCain is just as much dem as the other two. The fact that people like you can just close their eyes to this obvious reality is just amazing.

McCain has an 82% lifetime conservative voting record according to the American Conservative Union. He also consistently supported the war.

Yes, I understand that he has done some despicable things, and he was my last choice among Republicans, but to say that he is no different than the rats is just plain nonsense.

Yeah, I’ve seen your ACU argument ad nauseum. Means nothing to me. I’m not a republican. I’m a conservative. I don’t like him. I won’t vote for him.

I won’t vote for someone who’s hell bent on giving amnesty and citizenship to millions upon millions of wannabe democrats. When that happens it will be the complete end to conservatism. At the hands of a dem or pub...doesn’t matter. It’ll be the end of it either way. I won’t participate in that.

Anyone who would hurl personal insults hiding behind the annonymity of a message board is a coward in my book. And it’s also pretty obvious that you’ve never worn a uniform, or it wouldn’t have occured to you to be as vile as you were.

And finally, your hero McCain doesn’t seem to share your opinion of Senator Clinton since he said that she would make a good president. He may have a point, since she would probably be as good as McCain anyway.

Conservatives who refuse to vote for McCain need to read this article.

Thank you for reminding me of my duties. Now, what are you doing towards addressing the duties of the Republican "leaders?" What are you doing to remind Bush that it is neither conservative nor Republican to increase the government by 50% in six years, that it is treasonous to be buying Hispanic voted by leaving the country's borders unprotected, that it is hardly leadership not to exercise a single veto in six years.

How often do you remind people like BigMac Cain that being slightly to the right of Obama is not exactly conservative?

Sorry, but I have a real hard time respecting a “Navy Vet” who doesn’t want to stop Hillary or Osamabama from becoming Commander in Chief. That means CinC of the Navy!

Why did you put "navy vet" in quotes?

Do you doubt his service?

Were you trying to diminish his service?

You McCain supporters sure are charmers!

“Anyone who would hurl personal insults hiding behind the annonymity of a message board is a coward in my book.”

Then that must include you, for calling me a “coward.” Is that not a “personal insult”? Or do vets play by different rules?

Look, I’m sorry for saying that you disgust me. I shouldn’t have said that. I have a bad habit of writing things like that about people I know nothing about.

I’m just having a hard time understanding how someone who “carried an M-16” could be apathetic about the prospect of having a rat for CinC. What are you going to do if the rat surrenders on your behalf? Are you going to shoot Osamabama with your M-16?

Say what you will about McCain, but I doubt he will surrender — and that’s more than I can say about Hillary or Osamabama.

Oh, and McCain is hardly my “hero,” although I do have respect for his service and his 5+ years as a POW.

I read the other day that he was in his aircraft onboard the carrier USS Forrestal when a missle was accidentally launched, hit his plane, and started a fire that ended up killing over 100 sailors. Apparently he had to crawl down the nose of his plane to escape. I’d say ol’ Johnny boy has seen the horrors of war first hand. Doesn’t he deserve a bit of respect from you for that alone?

First of all, I was responding to your disgusting attack. But if you want my name and address, send me a private reply, and I'll be glad to give it to you.

“Look, I’m sorry for saying that you disgust me.”

I sincerely doubt that you are sorry about anything, it is clearly how you feel, you just didn't enjoy getting blasted by everyone that thought your comments were very inappropriate. If you're going to be a jerk, at least stick to your guns.

“I’m just having a hard time understanding how someone who “carried an M-16” could be apathetic about the prospect of having a rat for CinC. What are you going to do if the rat surrenders on your behalf? Are you going to shoot Osamabama with your M-16?

I am hardly apathetic about having an ultra leftist as CinC. I donated money every week to conservative candidates, until the day there were none left in the race.

Whether Obama pulls us out of Iraq and Afghanistan and let's the bad guys take over in one year, or McCain surrenders our sovereignty and we get 40 million new socialist voters that ensure all future president's will be to the left of Teddy Kennedy, we lose either way.

While I respect McCain's service, his joining with Dick Durbin to trash the good people running GTMO, and his joining with the DEMS to trash the SECDEF doesn't impress me. Also, McCain's temper worries me. I can see us in a major conflict with another world power if McCain gets mad.

While you can respect McCain's service, that does not mean he would be a good CiC. You worry about Obama surrendering in the GWOT, but the end result with McCain would be the same. At least with a leftist in power, there might actually be an opposition party.

And the N.Y. Times, L.A. Times, and pro-amnesty, pro-abortion, anti-tax cut, close GTMO, Terrorist Bill of rights crowd will be jumping for joy in McCain is elected. Maybe they would jump an inch higher for Obama, but is essentially six in one half a dozen in the other. The only meaningful difference between McCain and Obama in the long run is that Obama would at least opposed.
