P J O’Rourke was the only political writer worth a damn in that magazine. The letters to the editor seem to be written by extremely angry leftists with p** and vinegar in their veins.
OMG O’Rourke is one of the greatest ever, right up there with Steyn and Lileks. In retrospect, it’s hard imagine him getting published in that fishwrap.
