One more reason to vote Republican.

DEMOCRATS WILL TAX US INTO RECESSION AND WORSE ...

WASHINGTON - House Democrats neared initial approval of an election-year budget blueprint late Wednesday that would produce sizable surpluses by 2012 by allowing President Bush’s tax cuts to expire as scheduled.

if Democrats make the Bush tax cuts expire, they will have effected a huge tax increase at a time when the economy need less burdens on production, not more. This will be a huge blow to the economy and send it reeling. Why are the Democrats’ threatening the economy like this? Because to do anything else would force them to give up on their giveaway programs and promises. It took the Republicans 12 years to get a bit too comfortable with earmarks, special interest politics and lavish spending, a habit that cost them their majority ... But it took the Democrats barely 12 months to do the same, and there are few signs that their bad habits are being noticed.

I agree that the Rats will send the tax burden on the most productive sector of society soaring. That's one of the key reasons that President Bush should have had a proper successor waiting in the wings. His failure to even attempt to do this saddled us with the mediocre crop of candidates we had to choose from this election season.

Even the people most affected by the coming higher taxes knew that. This is the first election year I can remember where the Republican candidates failed to exceed the Rat candidates in donations. But a champion will emerge, and those who will pay the most in taxes will also pay to support someone worthy of being supported financially in the next Presidential election. Right now, I'd rather see them judiciously contribute to those in Congress who would be the bulwark against Rat efforts to screw with those citizens who provide the jobs that the rest of us need.
