I bought a jar of Pickled Okra once. Close but soaked in Diesel fuel may be the answer...
Cool graphic...Will be needed for race thread cooking pings!
Ya gotta fry it man.
Oh, I know. But for gumbo ...
NOW that’s a OKRA!
The resemblance is remarkable!
Folks had a large Victory Garden during WWII and we ate a lot of Okra and I’m sure Mom canned it like everything else we grew. I remember dad coming home for lunch and all there was was Shredded Wheat but no milk so he dumped a jar of canned tomatoes on it and sprinkled sugar over and Viola! A new treat was born. I still pour a jar of canned tomatoes in a bowl and put sugar on it and dig in...
I can eat a can of stewed tomatoes by myself. But no sugar...
A bit of hot sauce, coarse ground black pepper, and parm/ramano cheese on top.
? + + ?
No, but with the new Delta direct fares, you can pick him up at the airport, for a whole bunch less than gas would cost.
Dale. Drive the snowplow!
On March 13 1993, we had 18 inches of snow here in hotlanta.
Hotlanta! A good place for the 99 to make a clean comeback!
I snapped a couple of photos of the show car’s oil tank box cover so that I could help you guys understand why NASCAR was so concerned. The first photo shows the cover in place as it is required to be. The second photo shows me lifting up the cover. You can actually see the asphalt through the car because the hole is so big.
NASCAR’s concern is that if that cover comes off during the race then the air that is usually forced under the car and out the back now is allowed to circulate up through the inside of the car and out the window.
This would give the 99 car a downforce advantage because there would be less air flowing under the car allowing the air flowing over the top to have less resistance. This would result in more down force and that equals better handling and better traction on the track.

Another crewchief explained on XM that it’s possible to have that tight enough so the inspectors would think it’s ok before the race but it would come loose during the vibration of the car during the race and yes it gives the car downforce. The problem here was that it came OFF which was visible during the flip celebration on the track. Apparently there are photos other than the ones I have of the actual inspection but I can’t find them.
Octane 87 WAS $3.69.9 yesterday. Wifie Poos Rivera is running a deficit in the fuel tank and Octane 91 WAS $3.89.9 yesterday...
Those are not potatoes...they are Yukon Gold which are in a class of their own...
Also, Robby Gordon reported that all penalties were rescinded for him, except the fine. The fine was increased from $100,000 to $150,000. No points deduction or crew chief suspension, though. Hopefully Dodge will pay that since it was their error.
This is a good thing considering he lost over 4 mil in the Dakar fiasco. There is supposed to be a mini rally over the Easter week off. Now he’s back to 21st in points and doesn’t have the headache of having to Q in.
