I think that some sort of McCain-style “blanket amnesty” program would be a horrible idea. Many of them were never conservatives to start with, spending a year pushing RINOs certainly hasn’t made them conservative.

The truth of the matter is that even if amnesty were offered to the Rudy supporters and others, the past could never be undone. Even if they returned, they'd come back bitter, angry, and changed. Regardless of our desire, there's no going back.
