Those "conservatives" and "FReepers" who voted for Hillary are fools. Rush too ought to be ashamed of himself.

Would you rather Obama be standing unopposed today for the nomination?

I fear Hillary more than Obama.

With the right kind of message, McCain can beat him. Obama is an empty suit, and he would have imploded during the general election when people see how phony he is.

Dont disagree with Rush’s plan....but the big drawback is that with the Dems still fighting....they get front page news and all the media attention....while McCain gets no attention

Ol PearHead, Karl Rove, is correct on this (no fan of Ol’ PearHead, esp his treatment of pro-American/anti-illegal Congressmen)

Well, here's what we're thinking: we've now forced the Dem contest to drag out LONGER so the Dems bloody each other up MORE and have to spend millions of ADDITIONAL dollars to win their nomination. Somehow that's a bad thing in your mind?

Obama won 12 freakin' contests in a row and now Hillary is saved from political extinction by winning a mere 3. Oh no, we're doomed. It would have been soooo much better to just hand to Obama victory NOW so he can spend the next 7 months firing away nonstop at McCain and being worshiped nonstop by the media for "making history"

You freepers who can't figure out we it's better to have the Dems SLOWLY destroy EACH OTHER sand then eek into the general election are the type of useful idiots who got us DemocRAT Dennis Cardoza in Congress because you INSISTED that Gary Condit be "taken out" IMMEDIATELY in the RAT primary. Had Condit simply been bloodied up constantly over many long months and BARELY renominated, the GOP would have taken that seat in November.

Ah, well. Anything with “Reagan” in it is good.

that’s not wise...it’s manipulating the system rather than just voting on your candidate. I didn’t like it when democrats did it for McCain and it’s a disgrace for us to do it. Everyone should have to vote for their party in all of the primaries so this can’t happen again.

Thank you FRiend, I was just speaking the simple facts but unfortunately not enough people listened. Who are we here on FR to compete with Rush Limbaugh!

I voted for Obama in Texas so my vote canceled out a Rush worshiper.

There were threads posted here urging Republicans to vote for Obama which preceded Rush's comments by a week or more. Hillary Derangement Syndrome is as far-reaching as Limbaugh's radio show, so it's possible that Republican crossover voters split evenly into two camps. Since there's no hard data to be had, the finger-pointing is useless.

"the Clintons are so corrupt and immoral they are too dangerous to have such power"

They are, but we did survive under them before. Corrupt yes, but in a self-interested way, I don't think they want to destroy the nation's democracy.

Obama on the other hand has no experience, and wants to pay the UN a global poverty tax of $900 billion. We wouldn't even have the leverage that comes from foreign aid any more.

Obama is potentially a far worse candidate.

I agree, I lost one of my “living heroes” when President Reagan dies. My other two are still alive, my Father who raised 12 of us children on factory pay and whatever 2nd and sometimes 3rd job he could do while Mother stayed home and worked and saved. And Mr. Limbaugh, a true patriot in the order of Thomas Paine, Samuel Adams and Alexander Hamilton.

There have been several Republicans here at FR that said they crossed over to support Obama.

What the hell were Republicans thinking? WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?

They were thinking that Rush is smarter than they. They may be right, but if you let somebody else tell you how to vote, it's not a very high bar.

I have a bet with my husband, dating back to when Obama announced, that he and Hillary would end up on the ticket together. I was about to pay it off, but not after last night.

Agreed.

When the Clintons take office for another 8 years, Rush is going to rue the day that we could have delivered the knockout punch but held back. Who knows they may even find a way to knock him off the air. The Clintons would repeal the entire bill of rights if it suited their ends.

Listening to Rush right now. What delights him about all this perverse strategy is that it keeps the primary contest alive and on-going.

Who would've thought a radio talk show host would want the never-ending turmoil?

In Texas it looks like 600,000 voters voted for the Dem President on the ballet and did not vote for anyone else. They are thing that about 500 to 600 thousand crossed over. In Williamson County, Tarent and Fortbend went all Democratic for the first time since 1980 during a primary!
