The only chance I believe that McCain has to win is if he faces hillary at the top of the ticket. He’s an old bitter man with little charisma, she’s an old wrinkled women with no charisma. And I think on the the public will vote for the bitter old man.
Obama is the biggest factor in the election however. The major down side to the clinton-obama race is that they might join forces and run together. That’s probably where this is heading if she wins the nomination, based on how hillary is talking. And I think at this point she’s the favorite. Pledged delegates don’t mean anything, the fact that Obama has a 90 or 100 delegate lead is not important. Hillary won Ohio easily, and it’s Ohio and Pennsylvania that will decide this election. If McCain is smart he’ll pick Santorum to be his running mate.
My hope, and I’m probably reaching for straws at this point, is that obama hates her as much as we do. If he somehow manages to head into the convention with a delegate lead, and she ends up winning, I hope he is so bitter and angry that he rejects the veep offer. Thus handing a landslide victory to McCAin. Because democrat vote will be suppressed.

I hope he is so bitter and angry that he rejects the veep offer. Quite a stretch. You don't think that a politician who built his career on favors with corrupt characters isn't going to accept a deal from the Queen of corruption?

“If McCain is smart hell pick Santorum to be his running mate.”
You can’t be serious. Santorum couldn’t/didn’t pull 40% of the vote in his failed Senatotial re-election effort in PA. Robert “mumbles” Casey crushed him. You want to hang him on McCain to help take PA and OH ?
