The GOP is pursuing it’s own agenda and it obviously doesn’t really care about conservative values.
Just look at the ones who are heavily supported by the GOP and the RNC.

My take is that losing an election or two is chump change to the K street boys.
They don’t care that much and their agenda is pretty close to most of the dems except for details on how to get there from here.
