Mike Huckabee is the latest victim of a fierce game called Nap Tag.
Throughout the 2008 election season, Huckabees campaign aides and traveling press have been involved in the running practical joke.
The game consists of this: When a member of the press or Huckabees staff makes the unfortunate mistake of falling asleep while traveling from one destination to another, the others conspire to write a humorous or embarrassing comment on a piece of paper and then place it near the head of the sleeping person. A photo is then taken to memorialize the dreamy, bubble-quote moment.
Almost everyone has been tagged at one time or another, including FOX News embed producer, whos been caught asleep twice this election. Recently, players have nap-tagged some big names, including Huckabee surrogate and film star Chuck Norris, who got caught with a sign that read, MH (Mike Huckabee) can beat me up. Minuteman founder Jim Gilchrist was snapped with a tag that read: Suit and Tie Made in Mexico.
Until Monday, one person who had never been tagged was Huckabee himself. That outstanding record ended, thanks to Huckabees daughter, Sarah.
While the photo has not been released, the piece of paper placed next to Huckabees sleeping head read: If I close my eyes hard enough, it feels like Air Force One.

- That is pretty funny. I like the Jim Gilchrist nap tag.
Tomorrow is the big day. In Texas and Ohio, we remind folks throughout the country that: life should be protected, Amnesty should not be a part of any secure the border plan and our tax system does not need to punish people for being more successful.
- Why does an artical about Mike Huckabee on the campain trail have a picture of Hillary Clinton?
- This is great! Nice to see such a fantastic sense of humor in this flurry of political activity. Go, Huckabee!
- LOLOLOLOLOL That is cute.
- At least he is still laughing! I admire him alot, and will support him forever! The other candidates dontt seem to be having a good time. To much stress!!!
- Great story! It sounds like theyre having a lot of fun. I know that campaigning is very grueling.
- I hope he wins Texas. I really like the entire Huckabee campaign.
Mike Huckabee wants 6% of the nations budget to go to our military, like Reagan did. He also supports serious tax reform (the FairTax), a real commitment to energy independence, is the strongest 2nd amendment candidate, supports a Veterans Bill of Rights, would push the human life amendment, does not support embryonic stem cell research as John McCain does, works well with others (for example, he is obviously an Evangelical Southern Baptist, but half of his campaign staff are Catholic), and although he is compassionate toward illegals and their children, he respects the rule of law and has pledged to secure our borders and never support amnesty.
- This is so irrelevant! Why is this guy even bothering
-Mike Huckabee is a TREMENDOUS American Statesman, and will do our United States of America proud as the 44th President. Go Mike, GO!!!
- That was really cute! lol
But Fox Do you think you could put a picture of Huckabee up there and not Hillary?
- I totally agree with TJMs comment .I just hope and pray Mr. Huckabee wins Big in Super Tuesday.
- Hang in there Mike ..we love ya!
- Good clean fun is never old fashion and it never gets old.!!
Go Mike Huckabee!!
- A down to earth guy! It has been great watching and listening to him over the past weeks. Hopefully the Repub. Party utilizes his talents and abilities!
- FOX wrote a story about Huckabee !
Wow, what professional journalism
Geeze, why not right about Huckabees policies or something of substance? This place holder story is worthless.
FOX has become nothing more than an entertainment channel for liberal republicans. - too bad because at one time this network was a serious factor. Now even MSNBC looks good compared to Fox.
- I enjoyed Mollies coverage of Huckabee ..She did not appear biased .like many others have.
- Air Force One Mikes gift for his hard work and dedication to America! Go Mike! May all that you have put into the lives of others come back into your own.
- I really appreciate all that I have seen of Huckabee and his campaign. Real people on and off stage, real humor, and most importantly, real integrity. Those qualities are hard to find in any politician. Thats probably why as a nation we are so disenamored with the establishment as a whole.
- Huckabee is a class act. I wouldnt vote for him but I also wouldnt vote against him.
- Thanks for this positive note!
- That Gov. Huckabee is like the everready battery buuny- he just keeps going! Before you know it - he will be in the White House! This guy is amazing - I am going to vote for him!
A certifiable gaggle of idiots....
Huckster may be laughing it up, but conservatives are not amused at the way he and John McCain conspired together to defeat the conservative Republicans.
Oh, come on now.
FreeRepublic.com posters aren't that bad, on the whole.
And they and all of us will pay dearly for the collusion of a red-neck hick and a RINO stroke-waiting-to-happen.....
Now, that was funny.
Give Huck a break. We all know he is setting up for a pretty good job in the McQueeg Administration.
I was referring to Huckleberry and Kompany...

Who gives a flying frick! The guy was toast months ago. He’s been rjnning on pure ego or the insame hope that, somehow, the Northeast, the Midwest, the Southwest and the West will vote for him in 2012 when his bald spot is twice its current size, his jowls are lower and more pronounced, and his jokes are old and stale. Americans want a leader, not a jokester. He’s made running for President into a joke! But the joke’s on him, not us. The MNM should completely ignore this buffoon.
Agreed
If he wins Texas, it will be a miracle. Huckabee would be able to say that God really must want him to be president.
Its nice to see that the campaign is having fun on the trail. Im as big a Huckabee fan as most FReepers were in 2005.
Who knows? By 2010 his dog-killing son may have performed the “Menendez Manueuver” on his kin....
Talk about Trail Mix.....
Maybe if he closes his eyes real tight, he can pretend he was a positive force on the campaign trail.
