Someone's fate hangs in the balance in Chronicles' season finale, but that wasn't how it was planned. The strike halted filming with only nine of 13 episodes shot. Luckily, the cliff-hanger ending ties storylines together...

What was the last thing you saw?
Pretty much everything up to what I’m assuming was the last commericial break..the scene with the FBI agents. It came back from break...I saw saw Sarah typing on a computer screen and then it went out.
So you saw the FBI agents in the swimming pool?
They basically figured out that the guy shot by Derek was not Sarkissian (the bad guy) but a flunky. The real Sarkissian was the host at the cafe who got his head pushed against the counter. Meanwhile, Cameron sees the real Sarkissian walking away just as she turns the key in the Jeep and it blows up. End of season.
Just don’t ask me what was up with Chola Girl and Cameron, because I can’t figure that one out.
Only saw one ep of the new series. I'm waiting for it to come out on DVD.
Yes...though I may just grab the episode from iTunes tomorrow...though I don’t want to download just for the last few minutes.
Thanks.
They flash back to John and Sarah looking at the hard drive of the guy that they assumed took "The Turk" when they discover that the British thug they killed was not the right guy.
They switch back to Cameron turning the ignition switch and the van exploding in a huge fireball. The End.
This season has been a little rocky, but that’s not unexpected for a first season. I think we must have had more patience in past years, judging by the quality of first season Star Trek: TNG and other shows that started bad and became good. At any rate, the last three episodes have been gold. I never thought the addition of Brian Austin Green to any show would be a good thing, but he’s surprised me. The park scene was very effective tonight. And, the FBI agents scene showed that this is art and not some sci-fi hackery. If it gets picked up for another year, and it can keep up the level of quality they’ve suddenly found, it could be a classic.
Lost storyline thread from the shortened season?
BUMP what you said. Terrific entertainment and the women are awesome.
What else could anybody want from a TV show?
yeah, whats her backstory? Has 'Chola Girl' said a single word in the two episodes she's been in. Hope to see her again...smokin.
Just want to say I didn't like the premiere and haven't been watching, but a friend told me to take another look so I manage to get all seven episodes and watched them and now I'm hooked. Good writing, it reminds me of the first season of Heroes and how that series was structured with the narration.
I like the FBI agent and how he is religious and goes to bible study, I like his character. I still don't get how he doesn't remember who pulled him out of that fire.
Great show and bring back the Chola Girl!!!!
The key is to know when it's done.
Look at what happened to 'Prison Break'. The first two seasons were utterly magnificent. Season 2 "ended" the series perfectly. I almost had tears in my eyes it was so good. Except.... it didn't quite end because somebody decided to leave the door open for a Season 3. So instead the show went into Season 3, totally jumped the shark, and became a silly parody of itself thereby ruining the show's chances of ever being considered a "classic". If only the producers had (completely) wrapped it up at the end of Season 2....
If nothing else, they have to renew this series just for the Cameron at the Prom episode.
I like PB season three! Embrace the silliness. As I have said, I’m just waiting for season six where Michael and Linc go to space.
“...very reminiscent of her character on Firefly. Anyone remember that one?”
Good show.
I really liked Ron Glass as the space preacher/moralist.

I also like Ellison. Any ideas on why Cromardie didn’t kill him by the pool? He does seem to have an apocalypse fixation and I wonder if he’s going to do something that will lead to the rise of the machines.
Agreed.
I'll third that.
