It's possible that they were told by the boyfriend: "I'm going to go over to my girlfriend's house and tell her dad off. I may even have to beat his ass. Wanna watch?"
Dumb young people love being bystanders for drama like that.
And, inevitably, things got out of control.
An important question is the sequence of victims and who killed who.
There were only two weapons, so it's likely that only one or two people were doing the actual shooting and stabbing.
If the two boys were killed first, by either their sister or her boyfriend, this was a carefully premeditated slaying.
I cannot believe that statement, the only thing similar between the two case was that they happened.
It’s a byproduct of hollywood and the music industry - that false bravado/macho BS that comes from being “dissed”. Add to it hormones and teenage pack mentality, plus a generation or two of kids generally being raised withou the word ‘No’, and to think they are the center of the universe. It all comes crashing to a head, and it’s incredibly sad.

The four left the house, drove around for awhile, and Wilkinson and Caffey were dropped off at the Waid house, where they had sex and slept, the report said. They were taken into custody at the home, where Wilkinson was found asleep on a mattress with two guns near him.
