In a recent article entitled Royal Presidents, historian Michael Barone noted that “it’s hard in a very large democracy for voters to judge a potential leader ... it helps if you know the family”.

I would like to laugh of this article but in looking over the field of Congressional dynasties I would hold the chortles.
In my personal opinion, the Clinton name, connections and money MIGHT buy her a congressional district, but no more than that.
Anything higher, she’d have to earn the hard way.
Unfortunately name recognition is very important to many voters. The reason McCain surged ahead was partly because his name has been around the longest.
