John McWhorter is scheduled to be the guest author on C-Span2's "In Depth" Sunday afternoon from noon to 3:00 EST. McWhorter, a linguistics professor, has written a number of books including the best-seller "Losing the Race", which detailed the ways in which many blacks engage in self-defeating activities keeping them from advancing both culturally and economically. The program will include an interview regarding his books and Q&A's from viewers......

In past appearances McWhorter has usually received numerous hostile comments and questions from those who resent his suggestion that, rather than the fault of society or whitey, blacks themselves actually bear some responsibility for many of their own difficulties. Should be an interesting three hours......

Starting soon BUMP! Thanks for posting this, McWhorter is a “must-read”/”must-listen-to” thinker. The left can’t really refute him in actual debate, so they just try to shout him down. Bravo to C-Span for devoting three hours to him.
