Danish editorial cartoonist in hiding
NewsDaily ^ | Feb. 29 | UPI

The Danish cartoonist who drew Mohammed with a bomb in his turban has been on the move since an alleged plot to kill him was uncovered last year.

Kurt Westergaard told the German magazine Der Spiegel that the arrest of three alleged assassins was a "great shock." Since then, he and his wife have changed locations at irregular intervals, staying with children, in vacation homes and for three weeks at a luxury hotel in Arhus. They were evicted after the management decided the couple was putting other guests at risk.

The original drawing of the cartoon is in a safe deposit box.

Westergaard, 73, is a longtime cartoonist and illustrator for Jyllands-Posten, the newspaper that caused an uproar in the Muslim world by publishing 12 cartoons of Mohammed. A social democrat, he does not share the paper's conservative ideology and says he was just doing his job.

Up to a point, yes. The Islamic Uni-cultists have passed that point.

It was a fairly basic, and from what I’ve seen, rather benign political/social commentary. The problem is islam as usual but this guy and his family are getting the ‘toon rage’. He seems like a weaker target being a cartoonist so obsess on killing him this second...

Not to mention that it was actually Muslim publicists who made millions of copies of the 12 cartoons for distribution throughout the world for the 6 months preceding the breakout of pretended “outrage” — AND made up two more of their own that were deliberately designed (by the Muslim publicists) to be objectively offensive (Mohammed as a pig or whatever). SO this whole thing was a disgusting Islamic lie overall.

Every one of these fanatical Muslims who are captured should be put on a deserted island to starve to death.

“...A social democrat, he does not share the paper’s conservative ideology...”

Maybe he’ll get a bit of a clue into that ‘conservative ideology’ now that he’s living in hiding under threat of death?

Ya know, if I was him, I would advertise where my tent was in the middle of a field. Deer rifle ready. Why put off the inevitable? Two or three buddies for back watching.

Kind of proving his point.

“And diversity! Don’t forget diversity!”

And diversity is meaningless without political correctness.

Diversity is important. A diversity of weapons and methods are needed to send the Islamic fanatics back to the desert where they belong.

Recalling Rushdie’s ‘Satanic Verses’:

Several people associated with translating or publishing the book were attacked, seriously injured, and even killed.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salman_Rushdie

They took on a much more famous person, Rushdie, and forced him into hiding.

You know, this suggests a simple culling technique.

Hire the makers of “South Park” to make fun of Mohammad, and then cull those who’ve called for the death of those cartoonists.

‘They’ being muslims. They hate most of the world. The only book I’ve ever threw down in disgust was the koran. Some years before 9/11. They don’t hide it.
