I'll summarize the "crabs in a barrel" analogy. If you dump crabs in a barrel, you don't need to worry about filling it full, because as the ones at the top start to crawl out, the ones below will clasp onto them and drag them down.
The next time you are prone to post in a thread, you may be interested in heeding the initial article(s), some.
Compare Huckabee with McAmnesty.
I choose HUCKABEE! The choice is easy.
Bump for Huckabee!
So who are YOU voting for in the PRIMARIES??
Here’s why, imo, you should vote for Huckabee in the primaries, if you haven’t voted yet.

Look, I voted for Reagan, but I was also quite surprised at his success. And, yes, I agree that he became one of our great presidents. But Mr.Huckabee is not Ronald Reagan! I don’t mind that he continues in the race, but I don’t think it is incumbent on me to support him or to endorse him or to, even, value him. He is in the race for himself and whatever he can get out of it. My own hope is that he gets a one-way bus ticket back to Arkansas.
Huckabee is NOT a viable candidate! In a general election, he would be slaughtered!
I agree with you. Mr.Huckabee seems like a very nice person, but his record is not consistent with his statements. And if he, through some primary magic, became the nominee of the party, he would be slaughtered in the general election.
If it’s Hillary, McCain has a shot.
But if grumpy McCain is debatting with the “sweet” Obama, the people who vote for likeability, are going to go for Obama.
Mike Huckabee is far more personable than McCain OR Obama, and, imo, would easily beat Obama in a debate, or the General Election.
So why are two strong borders men, Minuteman Gilchrist, and Duncan Hunter, supporting Huckabee, rather than McAmnesty?
Anyone????
No and Mike Huckabee is likely, significantly better. Mike Huckabee would not appoint someone like Sandra Day O'Connor. He is also someone who is not prone to do what Reagan did in Lebanon. He is also apt to be more engaged to solve problems conservatively instead of taking Calvin Coolidge as his role model.
I don’t mind that he continues in the race, but I don’t think it is incumbent on me to support him or to endorse him or to, even, value him. He is in the race for himself and whatever he can get out of it.
It is better to let the leftists slander. I suggest you stop.
Huckabee is very personable and quite likable. His record in Arkansas, however, is not consistent with his campaign assertions, and his direct religious connections will not weigh in his favor in a general election. Yes, it is easy to like the guy, but not near as easy to vote for him. :)
Please tell us your top three most important issues, and tell us how McCain is better than Huckabee.
