If you are among those who are seriously considering casting your vote for Barack Obama either in an upcoming primary or, should the occasion arise, in the general election in November, it's a good idea to do a little homework first.
Questionable Connections
Rightly or wrongly, people are often judged by the company they keep, but the media has been strangely quiet on a few of Obama's connections, both personal and political.
One of Obama's self-professed mentors is Frank Marshall Davis, a known former member of the Communist Party USA, a party that not only had tens of thousands of members and covert agents who penetrated the U.S. government, but also received subsidies from the former Soviet Union.
Obama's name has also been linked to that of William Ayers and his wife, Bernardine Dohrn, former Weather Underground members who not only participated in domestic terror bombings in the 1960s -- including an attack on the Pentagon -- but refuse to apologize for their actions. In fact, Ayers not only has no regrets, but feels "we didn't do enough."
On Obama's campaign website is a "Muslim Americans for Obama '08" page, which includes a link and list of events which should cause the electorate to take note.
The list of events ...includes voter registration drives at conventions sponsored by the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), held last April and August in Rosemont, Ill., and the convention co-sponsored by the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) and the Muslim American Society (MAS).
Not a big deal? The MAS was founded by several members of the Muslim Brotherhood, a militant Egyptian group that has direct ties to the terror group Hamas.

The socialist connections of Obama and the Democratic Party have certainly not been featured in the Washington Post columns of Harold Meyerson, who happens not only to be a member but a vice-chair of the DSA.

He is a socialist who does not like the name “liberal”. Another Democrat Marxist who would like to take over America, making its government a socialist machine, that would keep them in power. Now, ask yourself, “WHY DO OBAMA AND HILLARY REFUSE TO DEBATE ISSUES??”
They have one issue. POWER THROUGH SOCIALISM. And America does not even make the top-ten of their priority list...

True — but the two are closer than you think. They are both radical Marxists with Marxist friends, the enemies of our country, the enemies of Americanism, democracy and freedom. They are both a major danger to this country.

Dang it, I’m already too scared to poke my head out the door. We’re either going to raptured or martyred. I see my beloved country going to hell in a hand basket and most folk don’t seem to have a clue. It’s bad, it’s bad, it’s bad.
Obama won't accomplish jack sh*t if he ever gets in office. He has no power base in Washington. He's a weak demagogue. His utterances are no more than empty words. Stop drinking his Kool-aid.
Hillary on the other hand has a power base, a network of hold-over cronies and can do real damage within the Washington Bureaucracy.
With Obama as president, an overwhelmingly Dem controlled Congress will pass all the socialist programs the Dems have always wanted, raise taxes, surrender in the War on Terror, nominate and confirm leftist activist judges.
Personally, I think the best outcome would be for Obama to win the popular vote, but Clinton get enough delegates to win the nomination. I think it would split the Democratic party and leave Hillery with no support from Blacks.
No they won't...they're still politicians. You being frightened by their rhetoric designed for their far-left base. When it comes to actual performance, they'll go moderate. Example: Why, whenever the dems are asked to "go ahead, stop the war," they don't? They have had plenty of opportunities to end the war---but, nooo. Why not? They want to remain in office.
Rhetoric is not reality, especially in an election year.
