I agree with you in principle regarding getting behind McCain, he’s certainly not my first choice. I just think the stakes are too high this time around to let Obama get elected and take this country so far left that there may
no way to recover even if a real conservative comes along in four years. I think Obama is dangerous, he’s a Marxist and will be beholden to this country’s enemies like no other president in history. McCain, despite his faults, which are many, will not harm our security or military, will not tax us to death, will not destroy the economy.

It won't take long for one of two things to happen in an Obama presidency. Either he will show his true colors, or he will be completely unable to bring about the kumbayah that his mindless followers are counting on.

If I had to make my guess, it would be that he's probably going to seek out compromise in order to accomplish something. Worst case scenario is that he can extend his 'honeymoon' period for about six months, after Iraq turns into the total bloody mess clusterf*** that GWB warned us about, Barry O's credibility will be zilch. He'll have moonbats on the far left cursing him faster than San Fran Nan got an election challenge from Cindy Sheehan if he doesn't do a total withdrawl in double time.

Any move on any front to appease them could then be staunchly resisted both by every member of the Republican Party, and those Rats who come from conservative districts. I think a rational strategy for this fall would be,
"You know he's going to get elected, why not keep him honest with a Republican Congress?
He's promised to listen to both sides, make sure there's another side for him to hear.
Your side."

I'd much rather have moonbat money buying Obama a meaningless landslide in blue states, than electing Rat congresscritters from red states. A win that was all about Obama would mean that he'd have zero coattails, and fear of him would bring out more Republicans to vote in Congressional districts that know they would suffer from an ultraliberal presidency. Make McCain STFU about the public financing, and let the libs burn the bucks on Barack.
