Aye, thats the kicker
The story says the guy made a second pass. Now if I saw Pop in the driveway with a visible semiautomatic handgun, I don't think I'd be making another pass at the house
I vote for: the Girls cut the guy on the motorcycle off (or visa versa)- road rage ensues, girls call Dad- Dad is armed, wacky and apparently not too bad a shot to hit a moving target- guy on motorcycle is too enraged or stupid to take a hint- and makes a 2nd fatal pass of the drive way with the Dad with the gun.

If that’s the case though isn’t the father still guilty of first degree murder?
This story just reeks of white trash stupidity all the way around.

Being very protective of my daughters and the guy circles back suggests he plans to endanger them - I intercede.

Its possible they lived on a dead end street and had to turn around to get back out passing the house twice.

“guy on motorcycle is too enraged or stupid to take a hint- and makes a 2nd fatal pass of the drive way with the Dad with the gun.” ...the second pass may have just been him turning around to go home. If he was enraged, as you say, he would have followed them up the driveway.
