Democratic Base Fissures
Although attention has been focused on McCain's problems with the GOP base, there are indications that some Democrats might defect if Obama is the party's nominee. Overall, 20% of white Democratic voters say they would vote for McCain if Obama is the Democratic nominee. That is twice the percentage of white Democrats who say they would support McCain in a Clinton-McCain matchup. Older Democrats (ages 65 and older), lower-income and less educated Democrats also would support McCain at higher levels if Obama rather than Clinton is the party's nominee.

This is a 3 degree separation from Clinton, but fingerprints abound. We need him to stay strong long enough to finish her.
Don’t agree. I think Rush has nailed it when he says we should let them go neck and neck to the convention and destroy each other along the way. Let them expose each other — it’ll make our job easier.
This poll has them all worked up over at the DUmp
Very unwise thing from Rush Limbaugh to say, although some people mentioned that he reversed himself today on this issue, I hope that he stops this crap. Can you imagine that enough Republicans cross over and vote for Hillary Clinton to give her a huge win in Texas and Ohio, making her the nominee and then President?! How can they live with their conscience after that.
I knew a rabid Democrat who was quite racist. I have seen indications in a number of Democrats that I have met. It seems that the Democrat’s calling Republicans “racist” is often projection.
I was surprised at this at first, but then it started to make sense, as much of the Democrats’ platform appeals to less educated and more emotional voters.
There is no neck to neck if Hillary Clinton wins by big margin in Texas and Ohio next Tuesday, she will be the nominee period if this happens and without any fight at the convention.
Well, Hillary and Boma is even lousier.
Wish I had your confidence. Anecdotally I have a friend who has never cared too much about politics. She paid $2500 dollars just to eat at a dinner where Obama spoke. She’s convinced he’s the second coming
LOL....I was about to post a similar thought before I saw your post.
I don’t see a large percentage of Republicans sitting out or voting for Obama.
And even if it happens, McCain can get votes elsewhere.
Excellent and I hope that more people like you will do the same.
Even if Hillary gets beaten Tuesday, she’ll be far from out. And if she pulls off “come from behind” wins (as defined by the media), Obama is toast.
I think it's called "projection" (fancy psyco term)...

Also what about the Hispanic vote? I have heard the two minorities are fighting to be the dominate minority. I know that Hispanics now outnumber Blacks and down in L.A. and in other areas they are engaging in rival gang violence over turf. I can't see very many Hispanics voting for Obama.

Did I mention I’m recruiting too? ;-)
Exactly. Some republicans are committing suicide by voting for Hillary Clinton in Texas and Ohio or may be they want her to be President.
