There’s lots of dissembling on the gay marriage issue. On the one hand, Obama and Clinton say they oppose gay marriage but then want to disable the law that prevents federal recognition of same.
If the Defense of Marriage Act were repealed, that would pave the way for 50 state gay marriage, because the gay activists would go to court and demand recognition of Mass. marriages by the federal gov’t and all other states. If Obama or Clinton are elected, that’s as good as done because they will appoint liberal judges who will impose this on the country. First step, repeal DOMA, second step, appoint liberal judges, third step, file the lawsuits to force same sex marriage on everyone.

Absolutely. They’re in total double-speak. They know that most Americans aren’t fond of either homosexuality or gay marriage but they say these outrageous things to the gay community and make it clear just how liberal they really are. You can’t support a Democrat, you just can’t. They’ll always let you down.
