"Brother Barack" What's all this about him being a muslim? I gaurrantee no muslim will ever call me a brother. I don't know if Dabashi is Muslim.

Don’t know for sure, but I’d be willing to bet that Dabashi is a Shi’i. Also, he’s an Iranian from the province of Khuzestan, which means that there’s a likelihood that he is an Iranian Arab, which would explain his great sympathy for Palestinians. That’s quite abnormal for a Persian.
