Obama based his speech around the question, What kind of America will our daughters grow up in? An apt question indeed, considering that around one quarter of them won't get to grow up AT ALL.

See, leftists stick to their appalling principles while righties act embarassed of theirs and make it a matter of honor to betray them. See candidates Hussein and Juan for a real life image of that.

Betcha Obama’s against the death penalty. It always astonishes me that liberals who wring their hands over the possibility of executing a convicted murderer (”but he might be wrongly convicted!”) are perfectly willing to slaughter millions of absolutely and unquestionably innocent babies.

Have you not heard?
Freepers poo-poo on the pro-life cause!
The one candidate promoting a constitutional amendment to ban abortion has had all manner of false and dishonest character-assasinating accusations leveled against his conservative credentials.
Governor Mike Huckabee is in favor of a constitutional amendment to ban abortion!

Considering Barack voting in favor of killing babies after birth, Planned Parenthood should have no concerns.

"There will always be people, many of goodwill, who do not share my view on the issue of choice. On this fundamental issue, I will not yield and Planned Parenthood will not yield." And there you have it folks. A presidential candidate's committment to support the continued murdering of unborn babies.

On the topic of judicial appointments, Obama reaffirmed his opposition to the confirmation of Supreme Court Justices Roberts and Alito, who are believed to be hostile to the Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion nationwide. Obama, the Constitution "expert," is evidently clueless about major Constitutional problems with Roe v. Wade.
This post (<-click) explains how dirty Democrat politics led to the USSC's scandalous legalization of abortion in Roe v. Wade, in my opinion. Note that the post first references two non-abortion cases to show Roe v. Wade in a different, troubling perspective.

“...a concerted effort to roll back the hard-won rights of American women.
The woman’s rights end at the umbilical cord. The rest of us are fighting for the rights of those attached at the other end of the cord.
And the Supreme Court cannot create rights. They can only strike down unConstitutional laws.
Legislating from the bench is bad precedence.

Obama also depicted his opponents as divisive, saying, They want us to believe that theres nothing that unites us as Americanstheres only what divides us. Theyll seek out the narrowest and most divisive ground. You betcha Barry...abortion was, is and will continue to be MURDER.
But, oh, so narrow...
As much as I disagree with McCain as the Republican nominee, if he can't hit these Obama softballs out of the park (not to mention his absurd comments on our security, the economy, taxes, etc.) then we are in for four very long years...

Umm - yes, you will, Obama. And so will President Hillary. The prolife movement in America has turned the tide and it will be impossible to hold high public office without being held accountable to prolife principles, very soon.

I guess a conservative who doesn’t care about the ‘social’ issues such as abortion wouldn’t see any difference between Obama and McCain. For those of us who are pro-life, however, it is clear there is a very big difference.
