That’s true. I think that Huckabee is a politician though and won’t spit into the wind on the illegals issue, he signed the “no amnesty” pledge for example. McCain on the other hand seems to often enjoy spitting at conservatives even if flecks of spittle blow right back on him.
Oh...you won’t get any argument from me AT ALL about McCain’s issues. If he is the nominee, I will hold my nose and pull the lever for him, same as I would do for Huckabee. My guy was Newt, then Duncan and then Mitt. Now I have no horse in the race, so it’s whomever.
