Dual Citizenship or Global Citizen

We once upon a time America was taught through school rally School Spirit or Loyalty!

Too root for our team.

We use to have that in both parties loyalty to our country!

Someone who had dual Citizenship should not be able to run for political office of anything kind or even clerk in the US Government!

Obama may indeed hold dual US-Kenyan citizenship. Similar to border-babies, a Mexican mother whose child is born in the USA holds dual US-Mexican citizenship. Not so ridiculous.

I don't think his mother is still alive, but the grandmother who raised him apparently is.

# 13.

Seems to me that citizenship is determined by the state of the law at the time of birth?

How could an ex post facto change in the law strip one of one’s citizenship at birth?

Panama has always changed its laws since McCain was born, but that doesn’t make McCain a Panamanian.

What’s ridiculous is the NYT questioning McCain’s citizenship!

And they act clueless as to the questions, however ridiculous, that will be raised as to Obama’s status.

As much as I dislike Obama and McCain, the NY Times and these other wacko sites aren’t doing anyone any service by failing to report what the Constitution says about the eligibility of the President.

I do find the level of discourse and the "miseducation" quite disturbing. For example, equating "natural born" citizen with "naturalized" citizen.

It's like a deliberate attempt to make people even dumber.

And it’s an excellent post in that regard. Honestly, I don’t know where the NYT is headed with their story. I suspect they’re playing a reverse psychology game with conservatives because they really want McCain to be the next prez but realize that if they openly support him it would kill his candidacy. I know that bizarre but it makes sense of their recent nonsense regarding McCain.

exactly

we can’t show photo’s of obama because they might be classed as racist

we can’t call him his full name like we can other canidates since saying barack hussein obama is not allowed and is racist

we can’t mention his dealings with his racist preacher and his racist so called church

we can’t mention about his wifes racist rantings

we can’t mention about how he won’t salute the american flag because we cannot question his loyalty

we can’t mention about his loyalty to africa and not to america as he has said because , well we are not allowed

we cannot mention anything negative about this man nor about his racist wife because he is obama the media’s darling

well it’s about time we got the meassage out and actually did mention this as the future of this country depends on who gets elected
Let the quesitons begin, like why are you not letting the media question you on hear questions

do you want reperations to blacks because of slavery generations ago?

why won’t you denounce your islam faith that you say is in the past

why do you feel it’s important to have an islamic conference right away yet not a NATO one, a ally one, nor a European one but you want an islamic one and even with our enemies like Iran

would you sit down with bin laden or a rep from his nut job group

the questions are many yet the media can’t or won’t ask them.

bring these questions up and the country will see what they are voting for

I can’t agree that the braintrust behind the NYT is that smart.

I think they just can’t help themselves.

You’d think they would have foreseen the outrage that is going to hit the collective fans, oh, about High Noon today when talk radio gets rolling on this story and it’s anti-military implications.

You’d think they’d realize that, just for the sake of fairness and in order to show up their bias, they’d realize that the first thing that would happen is little ole peeps will google Obama’s citizenship issues.

But they seem oblivious.

His racist so called church and his preacher who obama has said he admires gives their well devotes their hearts to Afrcia and not to white America in their words

it’s obvious to anyone if they take their obama glasses off that the man won’t salute the flag of this country
goes to a place where they devote themselves to africa
won’t wear an american pin on his clothing

the man and his wife have their love to africa and not to this country

so I wonder what he will do when president

maybe opene the borders to africans to come here
give reperations to blacks out of tax payers money and if so are we talking them getting thousands

many questions need to asked before this man gets anywhere near the white house

Why doesn’t Obama call himself white? Why do all half-black/half-white people call themselves black and not white?

The NY times is much like all the mdia at the monet

none of them are asking hard questions to obama and giving himand his wife a free pass about their past, their backgrounds and their loyalties

see my above posts about all that

I can’t agree that the brain trust behind the NYT is that smart.

I’m certain you’re right about that but it’s hard for me to believe even they are truly that stupid. My brain tries to make sense of what they’re doing and my theory is all I can come up with.

"Which is why I've never understood the "anchor baby" idea - if the parents are illegal alien Mexicans, why isn't the baby a Mexican citizen, no matter where he/she is born?"

This is one of the flaws of our system. It needs to be fixed, and children born here of non-U.S. citizens should not be given automatic citizenship.

Puhleese, if the NYTimes was that smart, they wouldn’t write the crap editorializing that they do.....as to they’re playing a reverse psychology game with conservatives, I think it has worked with their shareholders moreso...
